Since this is based on Greek (or is it Roman?) mythology I would probably enjoy watching it. I am sure that children would enjoy it as well (8+ maybe?)

We saw this at the drive-in last summer and loved it. My son read the book and was so excited when the movie came out.

I’m so embarrassed to admit I still haven’t read the Percy Jackson series! I am an English teacher, and my students came into my class with a core knowledge about mythology, thanks to these books. I have to get caught up so I can see the movie! :)

My 9 yr old read all 5 books in 4 months. As a treat we took him to see Sea of Monsters in the theater. He was in heaven! He thought it was so cool. And then I thought it was so cool afterwards when he started mentioning all the things they changed from the book and said he liked the book better. Proud Mama moment. lol. But we all enjoyed the movie too.

My daughter loves all sorts of fantasy and sci-fi novels, so I know she’s read the Percy Jackson movies. I remember her seeing the first Percy Jackson movie, too, but I’m not sure if she’s seen the second one.

I think my kids would like this one. Poseidon reminds me of a mo=vie we watch years ago, I forgot what it was though.

I really liked Percy Jackson books (yes, I read YA books, I prefer them to most of the historical fiction and romantic novels) but I didn’t like the first movie so much. This second one was much better. I really recomend it. And my son absolutely loved it :)

I actually watched this while on vacation on pay per view at my brothers house and didn’t like it as much as the first one. I think this second one wasn’t as good at all.

I think my girls are too little for this movie right now. Right now they just want Minnie Mouse. :)

I loved the books but wasn’t a fan of the movie. Saving grace: Stanley Tucci as Mr. D. Love me some Tucci!
